Walking

Take in the mountain scenery of Glenshee with a wide range of both high and low level walks – many of which start from Glenbeag Mountain Lodges.

Admire the abundance of flora and fauna adorning the hillsides on a gentle day ramble or bag a nearby Munro. There are 21 Munros within a 14 mile radius of the Cairnwell Pass, Glenshee Ski Centre.

For the experienced hillwalker fine mountains to choose from – include the Cairnwell, Carn a Gheoidh, Glas Maol, Creag Leacach, Glas Tulaichean and Ben Gulabin.

The Cateran Trail and other trails within the Cairngorm National Park also provide long distance walking opportunity.

Use OS Landranger 43 Braemar and Blair Atholl, or OS Explorer 387 Glen Shee and Braemar.
